Being diagnosed with young Onset Parkinson’s came as a huge shock to Gary. Over the past number of years he has become heavily involved in utilising a multi-disciplinary approach to managing his Parkinson’s

Gary uses running, dance and technology, among many other things, to help keep on top of his symptoms. Gary is also a huge fan of football and music, particularly Led Zeppelin, and can work a song title or lyric into pretty much any conversation.

Padraig Barry

Padraig was diagnosed with Parkinson’s when he was 53 years old.

He has been using the Beats Medical service for almost one year. Since his diagnosis, Padraig has ran 10 half marathons and recently finished his full marathon in Dublin with his two sons Kevin and Brendan. Padraig is planning to cycle Mizen to Malin Head, over 700km in 5 days in June 2018.

Having been diagnosed with Parkinson’s aged 47, John McPhee decided to take on a remarkable feat.

In 2014, John walked the length of the U.K. from Land’s end to John O’groats, over 630 miles in 30 days. If that wasn’t enough, John went back to East coast helping to raise awareness for Parkinson’s across the country.
